Lochlea Sowing Edition Third Crop ! This release has been matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels, and so allows a lovely insight into the Lochlea spirit character complimented by a gentle, sweet nuttiness provided by the casks. In comparison to the Second Crop, this one has been matured for around 9 months longer and the progression is very evident in the liquid. This is the first of the final 3rd Crop of seasonal releases, and will be followed by Harvest, Fallow, and finally, Ploughing to round off this series of expressions.
